News The focus in writing this month is on the form of recount. Students in all grades are working on writing recounts in a variety of formats (journals, diaries, memoirs, special moments or biographies). Recounts are typically written in the past tense in first or third person and are a sequential retelling of events. By the end of October, the students will post their recounts on class Honour Walls.
