Grade 8 Updates

Procedural Writing
Grade 8 students are reminded to bring in to class a sample of procedural writing. It could be instructions for a game, a complex recipe, assembly instructions to build something, the manual for a device, etc.

Good Things Happening in Grade 8
Grade 8 students have just begun a new dance unit. Ask them to explain the basic elements of dance - body, action, space, time and energy.

Please continue to encourage students to make use of their planners, especially to keep up to date with test dates and assignment due dates

I am still available at nutrition breaks for students who want assistance with homework, assignments, and test preparation.
